This is a great carrier but the inside foam bottom and side - which are connected and attach with velcro take up way too much space and the stiff cardboard backing on both sections makes it difficult to remove this double piece for cleaning. My cat is small and weighs only five pounds but I had to take the piece out to create enough space for
for her - particularly on height clearance.

Top and front openings make it easy for my 8lb cat to get inside. It's roomy and comfy enough that she also uses it as a cat bed at home. My cat is very doglike and will wear a harness, so while we travel on long road trips, it becomes a car-seat for her. She'll sit upright in her carrier with the top open. I strap the carrier in with the seatbelt, and then hook her harness to a loop on the carrier with her leash. Also, never had a problem with using it in a plane. It's discreet so other passengers don't bug her... Only think I'd add is an easy way to carry it in one hand, rather than the shoulder strap, but that's not a big deal to me

We used this with our 9# mini-doxie on a plane to FLA. He was uncomfortably hot inside unless I kept the zippers open (whereupon he'd try to wiggle out). The rings for attaching the shoulder strap are offset and do not allow the carrier to sit comfortably on either one or both shoulders.

Just purchased this carrier for a Coton that was a Christmas gift for my kids. The best thing about this carrier is that it looks more like small duffle than the obvious. I also like the fact that you cannot see the dog in the carrier so people aren't always bothering your pet. It is very easy to carry and looks great. It is definitely more manly for those guys trying to be discreet about carrying a little dog. My only complaint would be that the large is a little small. Other than that it is a great product that I would definitely recommend.

This is a good looking, comfortable carrier. My daughter and her dog Emma were guests for Thanksgiving. They took the subway and stayed late into the night. Both "girls' were very happy with the new carrier.
