We have a mini doxy who immediately took to the carrier, especially to chewing the half round vent covers--no damage done though. She seemed to be comfortable when zipped in and my wife likes being able to open one end enough to put her hand in to comfort Hildy. We haven't tried it on the motorcycle yet but are planning a long trip soon using the back pack straps to keep the carrier between us rather than behind us so my wife can keep better tabs on the pooch. We will have to wait and see how it works out.

This bag is the best I've found. It is light. Very cool looking. Multifunctional- straps into seat of car, carries as backpack, shoulder, or handheld. It wld be 1000 % better, however, if it had a side pocket for treats, or other stuff and that the handles don't have to be switched out everytime you want to use the shoulder straps. But I do like it most that it's very light, well made, and cool looking. I use it for my yorkie puppy, he is 3 1/2 lbs now. I think he will be 6 lbs full grown and the bag will be just right.

I purchased this carrier to replace a basic carrier that contained a vital flaw. My cat was able to push her head on the top zipper and thereby pull it back enough to escape. I assumed this bag would not contain a similar flaw, but it does. The carrier has mesh covers for its two side holes. These secure with a zipper that is, alas, easily opened by my cat. This means that one MUST always attach one's pet to the available leash hold inside the carrier. This makes it a little less convenient for me since my cats don't wear collars, but I did not return the carrier because it is, well, too hip not to keep. It has the same look and feel as my Timbuktu messenger bag, and is just the right size for transporting an average size cat to the vet.

I use this for my 5lb Chihuahua....He absolutely loves it! He has plenty of room in it. The bag is super-padded and cozy. It has a removable pad in the bottom. The windows on the sides can be closed or covered with their removable pads in case my Baby gets a little chilly. Both round openings at the top can have the mesh removed (and there are even snaps on the inside to attach them to so I don't lose them!) It came with a longer set of straps that I can use to make it into a backpack..there just isn't anything the designer didn't think of.....when he knows we are leaving..Baby runs and climbs right in!
