I wish the base was a little more stable for my dog. When being carried around, the bottom feels like its going to fall out from under her.

I think this is a great carrier. I just adopted a cat and it was a hassle to find a nice, affordable carrier that could be used for all situations.. I've been using mine to take my cat on long car rides and short trips and it works very well. The top "door" is really useful and I also use it as a bed when we are away from home. My cat never complains when I put her there. :)

I had an older version (med. black and brown lasted over 9 years) for my previous Pom (7.5 lbs). We used the bag to take her everywhere....including flying her via Southwest Air to California from Chicago (relocation). She loved traveling in that bag, so when I got my new Pom recently, I decided to buy this bag again. It was between the Kobi bag or this...after much consideration, I chose to go with this one because it's almost half as expensive and there seems to be bigger windows for her to look out. The other bag offered "privacy flaps" to lower but I think my dog prefers seeing over not. She can sleep through anything so I'm not worried that she'd be disturbed. I haven't traveled with the bag yet but she likes to go and sit in it when she's not walking around or in her bed. I like how the color turned out better than the picture because I had my doubts. They even thought to pair it with brushed silver instead of gold hardware. I did notice an improvement on how the the fuzzy lining is now velcroed down whereas it was not in the previous bag.

This carrier is good looking, and lightweight to carry. My cat feels comfortable in it, and she has plenty of ventilation from the open sides so that she doesn't feel claustrophobic. My breeder recommended it to me, and I highly recommend it to others!
