    I'm happy to report that 2 of these JUST fit in my boxy medium-sized hatch-back car. Since I got the second dog, I had to ditch the plastic kennel that takes more space. After I put the first crate in the car, it didn't look like the 2nd crate could go in from anywhere. But thanks to how it folds, I put the 2nd one into the car folded and then I built it inside. Then they fit really perfectly, not even an inch left side to side. Because they are open & airy, my dogs didn't mind to go in from the 1st day. Relatively light weight, and you can carry it like a flat suitcase when folded (thus the name). My only complaint is how the walls and the door lock to each other is not most sturdy. The dog cannot collapse it from inside, but if you happen to push it too hard from outside, it can start to collapse. But I wouldn't say it's not safe for daily use. I'm just being cautious in case of accident etc.

    I purchased this for my 64lb boxer mix and within 45 minutes he was out and meeting me at the front door. Even after putting lock ties on it he was still able to pop off the sliding lock and getting out. I would recommend it for a smaller dog maybe but as far as being for "michevious" dogs it's not.
