I use the crate for training my new Gorodn Setter pup- he weighs 50 lbs at 4 1/2 minths and will fit quite comfortably even as an adult.The crate is sturdy and easy to fold up for travel to dog shows,it sets up easily in my van and I feel confident my dog is safe.

pleased with the kennel although I fear my pup will outgrow it soon; not sure that I agree with the size rating- the 42" kennel seems small for a golden retriever
